If you came online looking to establish a real business, then it's possible you got overloaded with the tons of information found on the internet.

This is because there are just too much hype and false information being preached about making money on the internet these days.

Question #1: Do You Have a Proven Game Plan To Follow?

It's NOT enough to do what someone tells you to do, blindly follow and keep your fingers crossed. If you want to make any money at all, you need to copy what successful Internet Entrepreneurs are doing in actual practice.

For example, if in doubt of whether an author has made money from Adsense, its safer to make money and follow his product marketing methods to sell products, rather then practice the Adsense theories. Practical outweighs theory every time. It's in your interest to cross reference if the person providing the information is making money from the content he is teaching.

You can do this by checking the author's track record with Google or Yahoo. If there are no footprints of success that can be found by the search engines, its better to follow another proven plan.

Copy what people do to make money online..rather then what they teach..it's a shortcut to success.

Question #2: Are you getting your message out to your target audience?

Get yourself known and get your products in front of your target audience. Start early because it takes time for people to know you and trust your recommendations. The length of time a customer on your email list knows you can be the difference between a spam offer and a trusted recommendation.

This falls under traffic generation. Traffic generation is not sexy or romantic. It's just grinding it out and getting links to your website out there. A few methods I use are Video Marketing, Article Marketing, Google Adwords, Forum contribution, traffic exchanges. Other effective methods are Yahoo Search Marketing, Ezine Advertising. Find a few methods you like, and get good at it. You could even take your promotions off line by printing out name cards of your website and distribute it to your offline contacts.

Question #3: Are you capturing the email address of someone who visits your website?

Make your writing so compelling that visitors simply need to provide you his/her email.

Take care of your visitors and nurture them into future happy customers even if they should leave your webpage without purchasing the first time round.

Once you've started making money, duplicate the system by leverage on the efforts of others by giving them huge incentives. In this way, you will be able to create an automated cash stream and generate yourself the income and lifestyle you desire.
