I, too, have felt the same way since running AoC on my computer for the very first time. As a former World of Warcraft player with several level 70s, I really felt the heat in Age of Conan, especially when not knowing HOW to make thesame amount of gold I had amassed in WoW, in the same short period of time. I guess you could say I felt completely out of my element - Like a real N00b! Truth of the matter is, most of the AoC players in-game DO have an unfair advantage and there IS a reason they are riding the mounts, wearing the armor, and decapitating YOU with the items you wish you could buy. There's just that gold issue. Right.. So you ask yourself, "Where do I farm", "Maybe I should just give in and buy some gold from store XYZ", or "How in the hell does he afford all that loot?!". Look. I know you're probably a hell of a PVPer, but with an item advantage over you, lesser players will, sadly, have that an awesome advantage. Their secret? They know how to leverage the game in their favor and earn massive amounts of gold without working like a dog! Forget farming spots - Have others farm it for you and you reap the rewards by playing smart, not hard! You should deserve to have fun playing the game! Not fret over how to make gold.
