Binding Spell of a Chandelier Lamp

When I look up at a chandelier lamp I begin to wonder a lot of things. More inquisitive than the regular Joe, I look at things and assess them the same way I do with people I meet. And I love hearing accounts of peoples lives and how things came to be. Oh, what stories the people who made them can tell us. There is no better example than a chandelier lamp.

Under it a chandelier lamp looks so unreachable. A thing of beauty surrounded by a mist of mystery is so high above the ceiling that there is no other choice but to just look at it and admire it from below. The beauty of a chandelier lamp make you want to touch it hoping to hold the light in the palm of your hand. Oh, if only you could.

Were you ever curious to know the story behind the making of the chandelier lamp that you see above you? Who made it? What is his name? How long has he been making chandeliers for the pleasure of others? What is his life story, what kind of man is he, or what emotions did he feel when creating this majestic piece? I often wonder about such things. And with chandeliers I cannot help wanting to meet the man that gives me such pleasure.

I wonder if he new the outcome of the chandelier lamp before he started working on it. I bet he dreamed what it would look like. He probably lost some sleep over it too. How many crystals did he use? Was it hard to perfect? What magic did he use to make the lights affect people that way? What incantations did he use on the chandelier lamp giving it that silent music flowing through the crystals once it is turned on? Honestly, I seem to hear a soft echo of singing angels engulfing my consciousness every time I am under a chandelier lamp. Do you not?

From afar there is no doubt that a chandelier lamp will call on you to admire it. It is seemingly looking like a woman coaxing you to come closer. It teases your senses the moment you rested your eyes on it. A lady so enchanting that you slowly and willingly walk closer, with mouth agape, to get a better view. And you hear her sing an unexplainable yet soothing song. Songs like the one that tells about love and life and wonderful feelings. While in that trance you get a whiff of her perfume. A wonderful scent you have not smelled before.

And no, you are not out of your mind. What you feel under a chandelier lamp is quite natural and normal. At times man needs to be put under a spell to give them peace within themselves. You are but human, willing to get a glimpse of what fantasy is. Look up upon a chandelier lamp and set yourself free.
