Car Companies WANT Your Automobile To Waste Fuel!

What classification of vehicle is Detroit promoting most heavily for the last 10? Go to the head of the class!RIGHT! SUV’s!

Why do they call them Sports Utility Vehicles? This is classic Orwellian for speaking something which means the opposite.

What “sport” do they participate in? The “sport” of getting the kiddies, shopping for groceries and guzzling gasoline while appearing richer than you are.
Environmental groups have been on the warpath for their low gasoline mileage and high pollution.
But what are the Detroit companies telling us?

They say “performance” but they don’t mean performance. They mean “show”. A “valuable automobile equates to fancy equates to big and strong equates to show off equates to “horsepower” and so on. Look at the endless stream of TV ads for huge vehicles and luxury sports cars. Is anyone selling low emissions? Its mentioned in the ads I know but more as an afterthought than the main line.
Corporations want you to burn gasoline and they want your engine to run hot and burn hoses and pistons and so on. Did you ever notice how many hoses in your car are made from wrestling mat rubber that gets brittle and cracks?
Detroit companies think that they will sell more vehicles using this approach and so far they have been majorly successful.
One admission that Detroit companies know that they design inefficiently designed automobiles is that they have to have, by law, a large and expensive catalytic converter in all cars. This is a confession that the systems don’t burn gasoline correctly. The function of the catalytic converter is to burn AND WASTE all the unburned gasoline passéd on by poor engine design!!)
Since 1908, while so many other technologies have advanced and become more efficient and with all the improvements in car design, aerodynamics and so on, the overall gasoline efficiency has dropped by approximately fourty%!
So it becomes the duty of every caring citizen to force a change since the car manufacturers have no interest in doing so. How do we effect that? By researching, finding, discovering, testing and making available alternative gasoline solutions. Look at the man or woman to the left and right of you? They won’t do this. So it is up to you. Luckily some are charting the way on this already. But it is in your hand to avail yourself of the information and then show your friends and family and neighbors what they can do and what is getting results. Come join us in this quiet revolution!
