You have the perfect dress, the reception center, the church and the food taken care of, but now you've got to find a great wedding photographer. And, since pictures last forever, this is an important decision. Here are some qualifications to look for as you sort through all the Miami, Naples and Fort Lauderdale wedding photographers who are vying for the opportunity to photograph your big day.

Photographer Qualifications

Portfolio
Every photographer you consider hiring should provide their clients with an extensive portfolio that show cases their work. If one picture is worth a thousand words, then a whole stack of them should make a powerful impact when you are trying to sort through your options. As you look through portfolios, pay attentions to details like lighting, framing, image clarity, common poses and photographic style. If you can focus on these details, you will be more likely to judge the photographer's skill rather than how attractive their clients have been.

Ask potential photographers if their work has been published in any in bridal magazines, shops and other venues. If their work is well-known, you can rest assured that they are capable of capturing your wedding photos.

And, as sad as it may be, price may be another determining factor as you select a wedding photographer. The more famous a photographer has become, the more in demand they will be. And this will be reflected in the price. If there is any event worth splurging on as far as pictures are concerned, a wedding has got to be at the top of the list.
