There are a lot of obstacles that you are going to run into when moving in as a couple. The first thing that you will need to think about when it comes to merging your things with their things is the furniture. What furniture means the most to the both of you? You will want to make sure that you think about agreeing on everything first, so that you can keep your peace. You want to make sure that you talk to each other about the decorating ideas before anyone takes the initiative. You will want to make sure that you get along with each other over the decorating ideas, because it can tore a relationship a part. You don't want to make the other one feel uncomfortable about moving in with each other. You will want to come together to decorate so that you both can find a way to become comfortable in the new surroundings.

Decorating as a couple can be very fun and interesting. You will want to give it a team effort and be truthful so that you don't end up feeling awful feelings towards the new home or apartment.
