This may change in the future, as life coaching becomes more popular. When it does, it will be essential to get proper life coach training. Today's courses may or may not be recognized in the future, so it is important to go with one, which actually produces the results.

Becoming a life coach is something anyone can do. There is nothing stopping you from right now, calling yourself a life coach, and literally go out and look for clients. However, there is a vast difference between being a life coach with clients and those who don't.

How you get clients will be determined by what you can give. The person getting coaching wants you to have practical answers, and the person who can do this, and serve, will get clients.

This means that you will need to have one of 2 things. Either a strong knowledge from books, a strong level of practical knowledge, gained in your own life or both. Most people don't like the theory, they want hard facts, which they can utilize and apply.

If you have gone through a lot of trials and errors in life, and come on top of them all, you have personal experience. These experiences can be golden gems, which others want to learn, so they don't do those mistakes. That there journey through tasks, goals, etc, can be done in quicker time, save money, or produce more of something.
