A trip to French Polynesia is just like a dream come true. French Polynesia is an overseas territory attached to France. Located in the center of the South Pacific Ocean, French Polynesia is halfway between Australia and California in the US. Equally worth mentioning is the attractions in island groups such as Taumotu Islands, with islands like Rangiroa, Manihi, and Fakarava; Marquesas Islands, which is about 1400 kilometers north-east of Tahiti, and consisting of 12 volcanic islands, of which only six are inhabited; Gambier Islands, with about 14 tiny mountainous islands, among which the largest as well as the most populated is Mangareva; and Austral Islands, which comprises islands such as Rurutu, Tubuai, Rimatara, Raivavae and Tapa.

Hence, it is not a wonder why French Polynesia is toured year-round by people from across the world.
