New Legislation For Oil Price Controls Is Congressional SNAFU

By: GARKO

As seen on C-Span yesterday, the House passed a bill yesterday by a 4-1 ratio which would allow the Justice Department to sue members of OPEC for manipulation of oil prices and for limiting the supply of oil to help increase prices and profits.
The bill would subject OPEC oil producers, including Saudi Arabia, Iran and Venezuela, to the same antitrust laws that U.S. companies must follow if it passes the Senate.
Another facet of the bill is that it charges the Justice Dept to create a task force to aggressively look into the gouging of gas prices and market manipulation.
There are at least three things wrong with this bone headed legislation
Retaliation -
The number of instances where I agree with Bush’s White House are very very few and far between but we agree that this legislation is a bad idea. The White House issued a statement stating that targeting OPEC investment in the United States as a source for damage awards "would likely spur retaliatory action against American interests in those countries and lead to a reduction in oil available to U.S. refiners."
The administration said less oil going to refineries would limit available gasoline supplies and raise fuel prices. Duh!
Globalism – Just how does one country sue another country without a world court of some kind? So, for one country to sue another is a step towards globalism since the United Nations or some other such organization is going to have to gain new powers not granted by our Constitution. How else could it be heard? The last thing we need to be doing now is adding more power to some entity that has more power than our own government.
Wrong Target – What a bunch of arrogant criminals we have in Congress. Do they really think that noone is watching?. They think that they can fool all of the people all of the time? Uh uh! Sure, sue OPEC but let our own criminal corporations do as they will since those corporations own Congress For the last 13 years or so automotive manufacturers have been equipping all new cars with a computer sensor. What’s it there for? It makes sure that your car doesn’t get more MPG than the oil companies want your car to have! This is a fact and you can ask any mechanic worth his grease and he will confirm it for you.
The answer to the skyrocketing price of gasoline lies in grassroots activism and new technologies but don’t hold your breath for new technologies to come from corporations. That is working at cross purposes to their religion of the holy profit
One such technology is Water4Gas.
WATER4GAS is offering information at a low price which people can use in their garage or wherever to create a small gizmo which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their car runs on.
The process makes smaller particles out of the ones that the system burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size it gets to use a lot more of it.
By doing this you can reasonably expect to improve your MPG by 30-50% or significantly more. Those goblets "musta" been pretty darn huge in some systems before. But with W4G they are made usable so you can improve your MPG.
It also helps reduce emissions significantly.
This information has been purchased by 10s of 1000s people already and happy members number about 99%! So how about you?
