Ossie Clark - Over Hyped Fashion Designer?

Ever since the evolution of vintage clothes one name sticks in the mind from the 1970s and that is Ossie Clark. He was a designer to the rich and famous such as the Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger.

Highly sort after, his designs can either be bought as part of your collection or to wear, his divine dresses it seems have become timeless. Ossie was born in Liverpool and studied at the Royal College for Art in London.

His designs are simply stunning and his style is why women enjoy his feminine moss crepe and satin creations. Ossie designed stunning outfits for icons of the 1970s and was worshipped by fashion followers the world over.

The Ossie Clark story ends in tragedy with his murder at the hands of his young partner although one cannot help thinking that maybe if he was still alive today his garments may not sell for such high prices at auction.
