Some very entertaining rumors are flying around cyberspace about a new car that runs on compressed air Seems that it won’t take you to far without “refueling” with air but it could be a very cost effective way of scooting around the city.
The shortcoming that I see is that there are millions of cars out there and they have not figured out a way to convert them to this fuel system.
As with any new innovation there may be surprises when the new vehicles get out there on the street
The electric hybrid seemed like such a great idea until we recently found out that owners need to swap out their old battery for a new one every five or seven years or so and the battery itself costs more than the ticket on this compressed air car!
But I do have good news.
A car that runs on nothing! Yep… nothing! ! I am not joking... no ethanol, no hydrogen, no fossil fuel for sure, no compressed air... nothing...
Now look, before you begin the Fred Flintsone jokes, let me tell you I am not endorsing it. I am just pointing it out that there are people who are prone to do nutty things just as the Wright Brothers did in their first attempts at creating an airplane, trying to discover a solution so as to free us all from the robber barons in the oil and automotive corporations.
It is great that people are continuing to innovate but in such an environment it is wise to keep one’s feet on the ground and consult practicality which is why I support what is already getting the job done.
