Unless you’ve come directly from a life of solitude and had an arranged wedding last week, you probably already know that our wives appreciate receiving gifts. Unlike most husbands, who like useful gifts, many wemon will be very distraught if you give them sewing machines, even if it does make their life substantially easier. For wives, presents should be thoughtful and sentimental. It should enhance their perception of themselves. It should not be something that is utilitarian. In their mind, that defeats the purpose. The majority of women concur that the best gifts are those that are given without a reason. Just because you remembered them. Not because they have an event like a birthday or a some special occasion. On those days a gift is compulsory and thus it lowers some of its value. The most rememberable occasions will be those where you bought them a low-cost, or worthless gift because you remembered of them, or missed them and you wanted to mark some special occasion (that may not even exist) like a first date anniversary, or the first time you went on a date. Something that has emotional value will be recognised and much more richly rewarded.

While the unusual woman might like watches, it’s still too functinal. Shiny rings and earrings is always preferable, but unless you really know her fashion taste, you can make an costly effort which will not get the reaction it deserves. Does she like rubies over emeralds, diamonds over sapphires, nipple rings over toe rings? The choices are endless and unless you make her fill out a preference list, you might never remember when you’re shopping for her. You're more likely to make an expensive mistake under those glimmering lights and pretty sales ladies, who will without-fail ooh and ah over your choice of gift and effort. Your spouse will usually fake joy, but unless she really likes that particular piece, she’s really counting how much money you’ve thrown away, and what a jackass you are.

They might tell you they find such stars and even strippers repulsive, but in secret they hide a passion for that sort of style and love that sort of attention. Even something as simple as a g-string or a sequened panty can change the attitude of a lady whose sole focus for the past several years has been caring for her family. Remind her that there’s more to life than just chores and rekindle the flame of when you initially met.
