The review of telephone corporations

Everybody must realize that a minute consists of sixty seconds. But according to IDT many telephone card corporations just give you 36 seconds in a minute. IDT in juristic acts against some of their rivals declared that it is difficult to compete on a level playing field when one minute is not a minute. Last year IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) commenced a lawsuit against some companies-providers of prepaid phone cards attributing erroneous advertisement and misleading commerce operations.

According to IDT media release, some of their rivals only give 60 percent of the advertised minutes to the client. Recently Total Call International and IDT/UTA was charged with unlawful procedures by the group of telephone companies which included IDT Telecom Inc. and LLC. Before that IDT/UTA started enforcement procedure versus the group of defendants for three times. The other settling defendants today are Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and related corporations, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc. That incomplete action is still on approval in the federal court in Newark, New Jersey. To let everybody know the new phone service conditions and payment methods, one of the corporations announced the advertising notice on their website. The new system permits every consumer to define the length of the minute that suits him the best, and the system would keep back minutes form the account and the client will have an ability to check precisely how many units were kept back and how many are left. Furthermore, they mentioned that it is rule on all calling card systems. I didn't believe that it was true. But now when I saw IDT communique, I understand that they were credible right.

If you can simply calculate, that you can make a rough calculation how many minutes you will get on the balance buying an international phone card. The ratio is 100 minutes by only $1! Please, choose the calling card carefully to evade the ability of being cheated. The good news is that the corporations mentioned above agreed to deliver 100 percent of the units promised to client. If the corporations, prosecuted by the judicial power, agreed the suggestion more quickly, they would get a chance to be moved of from the list of lawbreakers. They have to endorse the proposed rules to make the rivalry between the telecommunication card facility corporations really fair and reasonable. They assented to develop rules and mechanisms for checking the accuracy of disclosures and denials made in relations to prepaid phone cards. Most of companies reached the acceptance that every of them will do its best to resolve that problem as soon as possible.
