Baccarat is the card game that is played for few centuries now and there are many variations that are played through out the world. The most important one that is played in the North America is known as Punto Banco. The players don’t need any skill, strategy or rules to play this game. This is totally based on the luck and chance a player gets during the game.

There are three outcomes in the game of baccarat; first the player will win, secondly the banker will win or there may be a tie. These are simple terms that are used in the game and no special things. The players just have to know about the game and he can play very well in the game.

The cards that are played in the baccarat have different face values. Cards from 2 to 9 carry the value printed on them. The cards 10 and face cards worth nothing in the game where as the ace worth only one point. While in the game the player has to count to score the cards by adding their values and when the total reaches ten or more then the player has to subtract the ten digit numbers from the total. Each player is dealt with two cards and there the player has to add their values. If the player gets cards 6 and 2, then the total will add up to 8 and thus the score of the player is 8. In case the player gets cards 5 and 8 then the total would be 13 out of which 10 will be deducted so the score will be 3.

The game punto banco is played in countries like the United States, Australia, Canada, Macau and Sweden. The player has two options to bet on, first he may bet on the player spot or on the banker spot. The two cards that are given to the player and the banker are dealt face down. Then they are face up and added together. The hand with the highest score will win the bet. It is also possible that the player and the banker may draw one card or stay.

If the player losses then he can again start playing with a new bet and when the player wins the bet five percent from this will given to the house as commission. When the score ties between the player and the banker then they are paid up at 9 for 1 or 8 to 1. In the baccarat there is a croupier who directs the game and there are two dealers in the game. Since the game is purely based on the chance you just have to sit and watch.
