Just how long do you spend on your computer a day? Really stop to ponder this question as if you are like me and are spending anywhere up to 8 hours a day on your computer and are connection to the internet at all times, you really should think about just how well you are protected from spyware downloads and viruses.

The fact is that even if you are connected just for a few hours a day you can become a victim of these internet devils, so if you are connected for longer than that the risks are more than evident. More and more jobs are requiring the use of computers and that means that we are more exposed to the fret of viruses and spyware downloads than ever before. Do you have good virus and spyware protection software, or are you just winging it?

I often here people say they don't need virus and spyware protection software because they hardly ever connect to the internet. Of cause it is true that if you aren't connected all the time the risks of your computer getting infected are less, but ask your self, is it really worth it; when you consider all the problems viruses and spyware can cause. You may not get infected for a while but it is surely only a question of time.

Where would you go to get up-to-date virus and spyware protection software? Would you simply head on over to the local geek shop? You know the one with the Bill Gates wannabe. Well you may be able to get good virus and spyware protection software there, but there are of cause other places you can go. For example, what about the internet itself? Do you shop on the internet? It's simply the modern way of convenience and it can certainly make life easier. Just remember to be on your guard at all times.
