YouTube: Why Is It So Popular?

Do you enjoy using the internet as a source of entertainment? If so, there's a good chance that you've heard about YouTube. In fact, you may even be an active member of this community, as millions of internet users already are.

With so many members and site visitors, there are many individuals who wonder what exactly is it about YouTube that makes it so popular. If you're one of those individuals, you'll want to read on to discover why.

Perhaps the greatest reason why it's so popular, is because of what you can accomplish on the website. For instance, if you're looking for entertainment you can choose from an unlimited number of videos, many of which you're sure to love.

If you want to do more than just watch these videos, you can even make your own. YouTube allows all registered members to post an unlimited number of videos on their website. Whether you want to create a vlog, a comedy skit or an educational video, you can do it.

Another reason why YouTube is so popular, is because it's free to use. Any internet user can simply visit the website and start viewing videos. Although you're advised to register for a free account, one isn't required to simply watch the videos.

However, if you'd like to rate a particular video, leave comments or upload your own video(s) to YouTube, you'll need to register for an account before you can start. As previously mentioned, registering for a YouTube account is indeed free, and it'll only take a few minutes to complete.

When it comes to uploading a video, it's relatively easy to do. That's another reason why YouTube is so popular. Even those with a minimal amount of computer experience can make and share their video(s).

All you'll need is a video recording device, such as a cell phone with video recording capabilities, a camcorder, or a webcam. Most computers already have a movie editing software program installed, but you'll only need to use this movie editing software if you'd like to edit your video before sharing it with the YouTube community. When it comes time to upload your video, you just need to follow YouTube's uploading instructions, and your videos should soon be available for viewing shortly.

As for watching videos on YouTube, it's been stated that you have an unlimited number of YouTube videos to choose from. No matter what you're into whether it's romance, comedy, educational pieces or even tickling female feet or their soles, you should be able to find it on YouTube.

The more popular videos include vlogs and comedy skits. Finding these type of videos to watch is pretty easy. You can simply browse through all of their videos, or you can perform a search to find something in particular such as "tickling female soles or feet".

If you have yet to visit YouTube, you're urged to do so as quickly as possible. Whether you want to merely watch videos and/or make your own, you can accomplish this. Once you arrive there, you'll like what you see. After all, YouTube has millions of visitors; therefore, they must be doing something right.
